Indigenous Climate Action (ICA) is an Indigenous-led organization guided by a diverse group of Indigenous knowledge keepers, water protectors and land defenders from communities and regions across Canada. The organization was founded in 2015 to uplift Indigenous voices, sovereignty, and stewardship of the lands and waters for future generations. ICA hosts gatherings, conducts education and training sessions, resists unjust climate policies, amplifies indigenous voices via their platform, and spreads messaging on Indigenous sovereignty, self-determination, and healing.
