The Fund for Frontline Power is designed to provide grants to frontline organizations working to address climate issues in the communities that need it most. They are 100% governed by the frontline groups who are impacted first and worst by environmental injustice and systemic racism but often lack the resources to implement innovative, bold, and interconnected solutions. SWAHA’s grant capital will support climate solutions that uplift these communities including re-localizing food production and distribution, developing community-controlled renewable energy, supporting worker-owned cooperatives, and advocating for climate policies initiatives.
