Through their fellowship program, 4.0 Schools invests in people who are transforming community-centered models of education and want support as they grow and develop ideas and programing. Selected participants in the year-long program receive coaching and mentoring, access to curriculum, opportunities to engage with a community of fellows, and funding to fuel their idea. 4.0 Schools is POC-led, and focuses on supporting women, non-binary folx, and POC. To date, 4.0 Schools has worked with over 1,200 inspiring leaders that have impacted nine million students.
SWAHA believes that community-centered models are critical to improving the equity and quality of our educational systems. SWAHA supports 4.0 Schools vision of a world where education leaders reflect the diversity of our nation; families and communities are co-owners in the process of vetting promising education ideas; and access to funding is abundant, transparent, and equitable.
